Aldborough Public School

2025-2026 Safe and Inclusive School Planlearning triangle

Our school is committed to providing all students with a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment free from bullying and harassment that promotes respect, acceptance, and empathy.

Staff, students, parents and caregivers, and community partners will work together as a team to help make our school safe and welcoming for everyone.

The Safe and Inclusive School Plan highlights some of the key actions that our school community will put in place as part of our bullying prevention and intervention efforts.

Key Priorities and Goals

This year we are focusing on resolving conflict between peers through self-regulation. We are doing this to see an improvement in student well-being through conflict resolution strategies.

Key Actions or Strategies

  • Identifying and developing healthy ways to problem solve with peers.
  • Engaging with our school community partners and families/guardians about regulating our emotions while solving problems.
  • Modelling and developing conflict resolution skills while regulating our emotions through community circles and mindful moments.

Community and Home Connections

  • Ask your child about what strategies they used to solve problems with peers.
  • Try asking your child to practice a breath before reacting to conflicts, and then ask them to notice what they were feeling in their body.
