On Thursday, January 7, the Ontario Government announced an extension of remote learning for elementary students, who are now scheduled to return to in-school learning on January 25. Secondary students are also scheduled to return to school on January 25.
In addition, the Ministry of Education has directed school boards in Ontario to offer in-person learning opportunities to students with special education needs who cannot learn remotely.

The Government of Ontario today delayed in-school learning for elementary students until Monday, January 25, 2021 to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Elementary students who attended classes at school prior to the Winter Break will continue to learn remotely until returning to school on Monday, January 25. All Secondary students will continue to learn remotely at home until returning to school on Monday, January 25.
